Does Beansprout ask for personal information?
Beansprout collects some personal information for limited purposes. Beansprout may ask for your name, email address, and other personal information when you register for and/or use our services so that we can provide you with information and services that you have requested, respond to your questions, display content according to your preferences, and contact you if necessary. We also may ask for such information at other times, such as when you enter sweepstakes or other promotions sponsored by Beansprout and/or our partners.

How does Beansprout use personal information?
Beansprout's goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with the most useful Web experience possible. By knowing a little bit about you, Beansprout is able to deliver relevant services, content, and other membership benefits.

Will Beansprout disclose personal information?

Will Beansprout disclose my email address to others?
No, Beansprout will not disclose your email address to people outside Beansprout (or not under Beansprout's control) unless you ask us to.

Will Beansprout use my information for direct mailings?
Beansprout may on occasion send you information concerning the health, development and well-being of children and families, and on other topics that might be of interest. Only Beansprout (or those working on Beansprout's behalf) will send you this information. If you do not want to receive this information, simply send us a message at bsncontactus@beansprout.net letting us know.

What else should I know?
Please remember that whenever you voluntarily disclose information online -- for example, through message boards or to request information -- the information can be collected and used by others. In other words, if you post personal information online in public areas, you may receive unsolicited messages from others in return. Also, while we strive to protect members' personal information, Beansprout cannot ensure the security of information that you transmit to us via the Internet, and you do so at your own risk.
